The Technology

What are Continuous Fiber Composites?

Composites offer a higher strength-to-weight ratio than metals, making them ideal for lightweight durability, but traditional methods often involve labor-intensive production, high waste, and limited design flexibility. ARRIS' continuous fiber technology (known as Additive Molding) overcome these challenges by aligning fibers along specific paths for more efficient material use. This approach ensures composites are used to their full potential, placing only what’s necessary where it’s needed, rather than simply serving as metal replacements. The process also enables the direct production of complex, single or multi-material parts without secondary machining, pushing the boundaries of performance and efficiency. Want to learn more? What is the ARRIS® Technology?

Back in 2017, team ARRIS created a new manufacturing category called Additive Molding, a first-of-its-kind software, materials, and high-volume production approach to continuous fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composite structures (30+ patents granted to date). Woo, that's a mouthful! ARRIS® Technology enables unmatched performance with a patented advanced manufacturing technology platform that prioritizes specific stiffness and strength in novel ways for footwear, bicycles, portable electronics, automotive, aerospace, and industrial markets (Made To Outperform®)... Below are some common questions about our products

How do AURORRA Insoles fit inside my shoe?

AXA Insoles are designed to replace the existing insoles in nearly any shoe (without having to trim or adjust). Check out our sizing guide to find the right fit: View Sizing Guide

What activities are best suited for my insoles?

People tell us they feel better immediately! Make nearly any shoe a super shoe with super insoles. These performance insoles are engineered for all-day support and built for the people who push the hardest. You’re on your feet all day—so why not use the same high-performance materials elite athletes demand? Because if they deserve it, so do you. Stand, walk, run, and play!

If I wear custom orthotics, can I still wear AURORRA insoles?

If you use custom orthotics prescribed by a healthcare professional, we recommend consulting them first. Sometimes, our insoles may be used instead of custom orthotics based on customers who've made the switch, but they are not intended to be worn together.

Do AURORRA Insoles come in different types?

AXA Insoles feature a mid-arch design and standard width that fit most shoes. While we don't offer variations yet, such as high-arch or wide insoles, there's much more to come. Sign up for our email updates to see when the next design is available.

I reviewed the sizing guide but I'm still not sure... should I size up or down?

In nearly every fitting, the sizes were true to fit. If you want to be extra careful, remove the existing insoles in your shoes, measure them, and then compare them to the measurements provided. Sometimes, people like to size down because of the variety of shoes they like to wear throughout the day (work or play).

Can I use my HSA/FSA for insoles?

Yes, simply select Truemed as your payment option at checkout and use your FSA or HSA card as you would any other credit card. Learn more at aurorra.com/pages/hsa-fsa-eligibility.

Can I preorder insoles and other products on backorder?

Here’s what to know:

Usage & Care

Below are some common questions about our products

Can I transfer my AXA Insoles from shoe to shoe?

Give it a try! These insoles are meant to be used in multiple shoes.

Are my insoles removable?

Many insoles are removable (give it a try). While some may have a bit of glue, it's still technically removable, and it's up to you.

When should I replace my AXA Insoles?

Focus on the feel because everyone has a different level of activity. These materials are quite durable, so some users may switch to a new pair in six months while others can wear for longer.

Can I trim my AXA Insoles if they are a little big?

Absolutely. You're welcome to cut the foam as needed but please be mindful of our refund/exchange policies.
